At Ongsho Foundation, our beneficiaries are at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the most vulnerable and underserved members of our community in Jashore, Bangladesh. Our programs cater to a wide range of individuals, including:
- Underprivileged Students: Through our School Education Support Program and Education Scholarship initiatives, we provide educational resources, scholarships, and mentorship to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them achieve academic success and a brighter future.
- Homeless and Poorest Children: Our Support to Homeless and Poorest Children (SHPC) program is designed to offer basic necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare to children living in extreme poverty, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Women and Children Facing Violence: Through our initiatives to combat violence against women and children, we offer protection, counseling, and legal support to victims of domestic violence, empowering them to rebuild their lives in a safe environment.
- The Environment and Local Communities: Our tree plantation program not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also benefits local communities by improving air quality, enhancing green spaces, and mitigating the effects of climate change.
The impact of our work is measured by the positive changes we see in the lives of these individuals, and we remain committed to expanding our reach to serve even more beneficiaries in the future.
